FINAL PARENT INFORMATION EVENING ADDED: February 28th, 2012
Tuesday, February 28th is the LAST CHANCE
to attend an Elementary & Middle School Parent Information Meeting
before the March 15th Application Deadline.
The Community Outreach PMC has added a final Information Meeting for parents who've indicated they are unavailable on Thursday evenings and for those who've requested information about the middle school program at BRIDGES Charter School.
BRIDGES Educators from Kindergarten, Primary and Middle School grades will present program highlights and answer questions.
This final Parent Information Meeting will introduce parents to our developmentally appropriate kindergarten, primary and middle school programs, our focus on hands-on learning, active play and healthy habits, our dedication to global stewardship and sustainability, our attention to practicing conflict resolution and compassionate communication skills through Circle and Council, and our commitment to developing students skilled in leadership and public speaking.
Don't miss this opportunity to join our unique BRIDGES K-8 learning community.
BRIDGES was built to empower students to become balanced, fulfilled individuals who are personally confident, academically competent, interpersonally skilled, and emotionally resilient ... individuals who ultimately mature into lifelong learners and successful, contributing global citizens. So if you know a child who would likely benefit from a BRIDGES education, help us make certain his or her parents know about our School.
*Attendance at a Parent Information Meeting is a mandatory requirement for admission to BRIDGES; attending parents are given first priority on BRIDGES Classroom/Campus Tours, which are also required for admission.
All Parent Information Meetings are public and are held in BRIDGES Classroom #1 from 7:00 to 8:30pm. Parents of public, private and homeschool students entering K-8th grade are invited. Please RSVP at (805) 492-3569; childcare available. Translation services are available for Spanish-speaking families. Application forms (in English and Spanish) will be provided and may be completed and submitted at the meeting.
Most of our families learn of BRIDGES through word-of-mouth; so please help us spread the word!
