Charter Renewal Updates
We are in the middle of our 10th year of operation as a Charter School approved and authorized by the Ventura County Office of Education. Every five years, we are tasked with revising our Charter document and presenting our petition to the county board for consideration of renewal.

Our Charter Renewal Committee has worked hard the past year to synthesize, refine, and consider changes to our Charter as we envision how we want to grow as a school in the next 5 years. I am happy to report that the Bridges Board of Directors voted to approve our Charter Revisions at the last board meeting. I will be presenting the revisions to the Ventura County Board of Education on Monday, March 23rd. Please consider joining us to show support as we request that the VCBE approve our Charter for another 5 years.

Our 2nd Graders Need Your Help Making an Impact to Adopt a Gorilla!
The 2nd grade classes have been working on a project focused on how to save endangered species. As part of that project, the 2nd graders will be hosting a USED BOOK SALE on Friday, January 31st. We would like to ask each student in the Bridges Community to donate one used book for the sale. All books will be sold for $1.00. All classes will have the opportunity to visit the book sale on Friday, January 31 and purchase a book to take home. All proceeds from the sale will be used to adopt a Mountain Gorilla from the World Wildlife Fund.

Middle School Information Week for 5th Graders and their Families
We can only accept 32 students into our 6th grade class, and we offer these spots to our current 5th grade students first. Our middle school is an intimate community that is academically challenging, yet still aligned with our whole child values. If you have a current 5th grade student, come to our information night to meet our teachers and learn about our unique middle school program! RSVP here:
