Attendance
There are a lot of viruses going around, and we appreciate you keeping your children home from school when they are sick. However, we need your help promoting positive school attendance trends as our attendance rate has been declining in January.  Family vacations, Disneyland day trips, staying home with a sick sibling, not wanting to come to school, feeling tired are not reasons to miss school, and have a negative impact not only on your child’s learning, but also on our school’s funding.

Our school’s primary funding comes to us only when your children attend school. Having more than 1-2 students out per class per day on average puts us below our budgeted threshold. When we don’t meet this threshold, programs get cut, class sizes increase, hiring is stalled. So long as your child is healthy, we count on you to get your students to school on time every day!

Valentines Day ❤️
With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, many of our teachers are organizing inclusive Valentines Day celebrations in their classrooms. Please remember our healthy food policy if you plan to send your child with Valentines. Your children should not be bringing candy or other treats to school!

Ten Year Gala, May 16th 6:30-10:30pm 💃🏿
It’s our tenth year as a school, and after renewing our Charter at the county board meeting in March, we are going to celebrate our community in a big way! You are not going to want to miss our 10 year Gala and Silent Auction at the Los Robles Golf Club.  Pre-purchase tickets here for a discount. We have a limited number of full tables to purchase; if you wish to sit with your friends, consider purchasing a table and splitting the cost! Tickets are available by texting ENCHANTED20 to 41444.

Fun Run 🏃🏽‍♂️
It’s hard to believe our Fun Run is right around the corner! This is a day to celebrate our healthy bodies in a fun and supportive event. Students will run with their grade levels during the school day and are asked to gather sponsors as a fundraiser for our PAC.

Parent Discussion Nights
Our Free Spring Parent Education Nights are right around the corner! We developed topics that we felt will resonate with our parent community, and we hope you will join us! The first parent discussion is February 18th at 6:30pm with a focus on Helicopter Parenting: What can go wrong, and how to adjust. RSVP here, all parents are welcome, so bring a friend: http://www.bridgescharter.org/apps/form/form.BRICS.rPbVGkT.pe

Intent to Re-Enroll

Intent to Re-Enroll
We have released our Intent to Re-Enroll Forms due no later than March 1st. You can fill out the form on Parentsquare. Please complete one form per child returning to Bridges for 2020-2021. If you have another child who is not a current student, the sibling will receive preference in our lottery, so please indicate your intent to the sibling on this form: ttps://www.parentsquare.com/feeds/2394043

Lost and Found 👕
Our lost and found is full of coats, lunchboxes, sweaters, and more! If your child is missing an item, check our lost and found. All unclaimed items will be donated to a local charity soon!

Coffee Chat ☕
Our Coffee Chat for the month of February is focusing on Math. We will analyze school achievement data, discuss our Math Curriculum, and then invite feedback from parents to inform future decisions. We will be meeting in the home school room TODAY from 1:30-2:40. We hope you can join us!

2020-2021 Calendar 🗓️
Our board approved our 2020-2021 School Calendar. I have attached the calendar to this email so that you can begin your family calendaring for the 2019-2020 to ensure that you are scheduling your vacations and holidays in alignment with our school calendar. We always attempt to stay in alignment with CVUSD to the greatest degree possible; however, there are several exceptions for additional staff development days and an earlier ending to the school year.

Dr. Kelly and Ms. Cindy
