Director's Note: January 19th

Dear Families:

Wow, what a start to 2021! We are grateful for your continued resilience and flexibility. The winds are howling today, and we hope you are all staying safe, though we recognize that many are without electricity today.

In order to do our part in mitigating the spread of COVID 19 and in continuing to keep our employees and students as safe as possible, we are continuing to enact our holiday travel advisory so long as our region is in stay at home orders.

If you travel out of state, we ask that you let us know and that you either quarantine your child for 14 days upon return or provide a negative COVID test within 72 hours of return. If your child travels internationally, we will ask that your child quarantine and learn from home for 14 days.

To date, we have had 3 staff members test positive and 5 students test positive. No outbreaks have occurred on site, and all staff and families have worked cooperatively with us and the county health department by following guidance for quarantining.

Prioritization for vaccination has been posted and is updated here:

We continue to be grateful for your transparency in sharing with us your close contacts with COVID positive individuals and for your willingness to keep your children home when they develop symptoms that are aligned with COVID. This communication helps us to protect health and safety of our teachers and staff who are on the front line and to support the safety of our students in the classroom.
