Director's Note: April 16th

In the past week, our county has officially moved to the orange tier. This is now just one step away from the least restrictive yellow tier that allows businesses to more fully re-open. In fact, the Governor recently announced June 15th to be the target date to completely re-open the state's economy.

Though the change in tiers does not have a significant impact on schools and our ability to fully re-open, it does provide a very positive indication that schools will be able to fully re-open for the 2021-2022 school year. This provides us with a sense of great relief and excitement as we are planning for next year!

In a continued effort to provide on-site learning to as many students as we can accommodate, on April 19th, if your middle school student is an on-site learner, they will begin coming to school Monday through Thursday. The bell schedule will remain the same.

Despite the positive trends we are seeing across our county, we do plan to continue offering our Distance Learning Program for the remainder of the school year to students who are currently enrolled in Distance Learning.

As we are all of a sudden in the home stretch of the school year, we still have a lot of fun and learning in store in these final two months of school!
