Director's Note, February 19th: 2019-2020 School Calendar, Crazy Hair Day, Class Photos, and More!

Fun Run and After Party -- Bridges Family Donor will Match all Donations up to $40k!
The Fun Run and After Party is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year! The money the PAC raises goes straight back into your child’s classroom. The PAC funds technology upgrades, our school Naturalists, buses for field trips, safety upgrades, performing arts purchases, and so much more!

This year our fundraising efforts are more important than ever as we have an Anonymous Bridges Family that has offered to match every donation made in our fundraising efforts up to 40k! Please let your family and friends know that when they sponsor your child in the fun run, their donation will be doubled!

The Fun Run and After Party is scheduled for March 15th. PAC is also in need of parent volunteers to support the success of this event!

Intent to Re-Enroll
Our school lottery is taking place on March 14th. We need to know how many openings we need to fill. Please let us know of your intent to re-enroll no later than March 1st. If this form is not submitted before that date, we will assume that your child is not returning, and we will offer the spot as available in our lottery. Siblings of current students receive priority in our lottery, so please indicate on the form if you have a sibling you wish to enroll for the 2019-2020 school year. The form is available here: https://www.parentsquare.com/feeds/1304830?key=u_8pZdGPYDEcwxQrFzSdug&token=GU7hFq9ipKJuF9qVi892zg

2019-2020 Calendar
Our board approved our 2019-2020 calendar at our last board meeting. I have attached the calendar to this email so that you can begin your family calendaring for the 2019-2020 to ensure that you are scheduling your vacations and holidays in alignment with our school calendar. We always attempt to stay in alignment with CVUSD to the greatest degree possible; however, please note several exceptions. Our first day of school will be Tuesday August 20, one day earlier than CVUSD, and our last day of school will be Friday, June 5th, one week earlier than CVUSD. We also have early release and staff development days that are different than CVUSD.
